The resources and tools found under the “Navigator Resources” represent exemplary practices and materials that align with and promote the Department of Labor’s and Social Security Administration’s vision of the Disability Program Navigator Initiative. The tools and resources contained in this section have been developed specifically for Disability Program Navigators by the National Technical Assistance Team, and the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, National DPN Program Office. This section’s structure is based on the categories of the DPN Implementation Maturity Model in order to promote Navigators’ understanding of the 4 main areas relevant to implementing the DPN Initiative.
- State Lead Resources
This section contains resources that have been specifically created for state leads with the intent of assisting them in implementing and overseeing the DPN project in their state as well as understanding the role of the state lead as it pertains to communication and connections to the National DPN Program Office.
- Favorite Links
This section contains a list of website “favorites” that provide multiple resources, examples, tools and other valuable information that is pertinent to the role of the Disability Program Navigator. These websites are commonly used by Navigators, State Leads, the National Technical Assistance Team and the National DPN Program Office in order to acquire information to enhance one’s knowledge about issues relevant to persons with disabilities.
