Disability Program Navigator: Resources; A) Navigator Resources

Disability Expertise
Disability expertise pertains to the knowledge of staff within the One-Stop Career Centers related to the employment issues of persons with disabilities. This heading contains information and resources pertaining to disability expertise.
Accessibility
Regardless of how great the information and relationships are relative to disability employment within the One-Stop Career Center, people with disabilities can only benefit to the degree they can access those resources. This heading contains information and resources pertaining to physical, programmatic and attitudinal accessibility.
Problem-Solving
Problem-Solving is the degree to which the One-Stop Career Center focuses on solutions for the needs of One-Stop Career Center customers with disabilities, and builds its capacity to do so. This heading contains information and resources pertaining to problem-solving.
Sphere of Influence
The Sphere of Influence is the degree to which the One-Stop Career Center’s perceived expertise in employment issues for persons with disabilities is valued highly enough by community partners and businesses to be solicited as they pursue their own missions.
DPN Reporting Tool
The DPN Reporting Tool was created as a means to assist Navigators in planning and implementing their work. The Tool provides an outline of various activities as they relate to the role of the Navigator.
DPN 30 Second Trainings
A 30-Second Training is a quick fun Power Point slide show that is electronically sent out to One-Stop Staff and Partner staff and can be completed in a very short amount of time hence, 30-Seconds Trainings. They provide disability and employment information usually with a resource link for those that are interested in furthering their knowledge and expertise.
