Disability Program Navigator: Training ; October 2009 : New Navigator Orientation and Training Webinar 2 Part Series
The NDI Technical Assistance Team hosted a webinar series to provide orientation and training assistance to new and continuing Navigators. The material covered in the webinar series complemented and built upon each other. The first webinar was moderated by Laura Gleneck, NDIConsulting Inc., and featured expert presenters Miranda Kennedy, NDI Consulting Inc. and DJ Diamond, NDI Consulting Inc. The first webinar covered “The Disability Program Navigator Checklist”; a strategic and comprehensive guide developed to assist new Navigators in learning their role and guiding their systems change activities within the One Stop System. This webinar is directed towards New Navigators. The second webinar covered two Navigator Effective Practices “Serving as a Resource Librarian & Establishing an Interagency Committee” This webinar was also moderated by Laura Gleneck, Project Director at NDI Consulting Inc, and will featured two former Navigators: Miranda Kennedy & DJ Diamond (now part of the NDI TA
team), who responded to questions of the moderator and audience regarding their experience as Navigators. This webinar is directed towards New Navigators, but is open to other interested Navigators.:
